The Alabama State Bar Family Law Section, established in 1984, is one of the largest and most active Sections of the Alabama Bar. It provides access to a state-wide membership base through an email listserv group, hosts an annual CLE conference at the beach each summer, and assists in developing and presenting other CLE programs throughout the year. The Section monitors legislation and appellate court opinions affecting family law practitioners.
